Tickets for the 2017 Highland Military Tattoo are now on sale.

From 8-10 September

2017, the Highland Military Tattoo will offer locals and visitors alike a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the heritage and culture of the Scottish Highlands and Moray against the backdrop of the spectacular Fort George.

In VisitScotland’s Year of History Heritage and Archaeology, the programme will celebrate the rich military heritage of Fort George, the Highlands and Moray, and the 75th anniversary of the RAF squadron.

Gaelic will also feature in the repertoire during the year of Gaelic Welcome, when multi-national audiences will have the opportunity to learn a few words themselves.

Consisting of three evening performances and one matinee performance (Saturday), the Highland Tattoo is fast becoming a ‘must-see’ event in the Scottish tourism schedule. There is also a Food and Drink Village, featuring local and Scottish food and drink suppliers, stalls selling a range of delicious food and drink items and traditional and historical re-enactors will also be entertaining guests, pre-event, in the tented village. The village is open accessible in advance of the main event, from around 5pm, and at the end of each performance,.

This year’s Highland Military Tattoo will also see a wider range of ticket options aimed at increasing the availability of lower priced tickets, making this stunning and memorable family event more accessible to all.

Tattoo Director, Major General the Hon Seymour Monro CBE LVO DL., commented; “Our aim is to make the Highland Military Tattoo a well-attended annual event on the Highland and Moray’s calendar, drawing in a local and worldwide audience.”

The 2017 Highland Military Tattoo shall take place at Fort George, Ardersier, from the 8th-10th September.
